Retrofit
Zum Antrieb von Ventilatoren werden in der Kälte-, Klima-, Lüftungs und Gebäudetechnik noch häufig ungeregelte Asynchronmotoren eingesetzt. Sie haben jedoch einen gravierenden Nachteil: Einen vergleichsweise geringen Wirkungsgrad. Dieser wirkt sich in praktisch allen Anwendungen auf den Energieverbrauch aus.
Das geht auch energiesparender: ebm‑papst ist in der Lage, die meist ineffizienten Ventilatoren mit AC-Motoren bei gleicher Mechanik durch hocheffiziente EC-Technik zu ersetzen.
